I am Sarah – I studied Media and Computer Science at Trier University of Applied Sciences, where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. During my master’s thesis, I applied a user-centered design approach to develop the UI for an Intelligent Pilot Advisory System for normal operations in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

A semester abroad at the Università degli Studi di Salerno allowed me to broaden my perspective on interactive systems and AI system engineering. Today, I am pursuing my PhD at DLR in the field of Human Factors, where my research explores bidirectional communication in human-AI teams.

Alongside my studies and doctoral research, I have gained practical experience in various projects: as a research associate and student assistant and as a freelancer in media design and web development.
